The role

This is a Real Estate Associate position at Baker McKenzie for lawyers with 2-4 years of PQE. The role is based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney, Australia, and will involve advising on a range of real estate matters.

Advise on matters throughout Australia
Focus especially on delivering advice on Queensland matters
Focus especially on delivering advice in the renewables space

What we're looking for

2-4 years' PQE

Minimum 2 years property law experience in commercial sales and acquisitions

Minimum 2 years property law experience in commercial and retail leasing

Minimum 2 years property law experience in real estate due diligence

Relevant legal qualifications

Strong client service orientation

Strong technical, drafting and commercial skills

Excellent analytical, communication, and research skills

Commitment to high work standards and strong attention to detail

Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity

Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and to take responsibility for this relationship

Ability to work well in a team environment (including across Australian offices and internationally)

Willingness to learn

Experience in a top tier or leading international firm preferred· nice to have
