Planning Solicitor

The role

Cripps is seeking a Planning Solicitor with 2+ years of experience to join their nationally renowned Planning Team in Tunbridge Wells. This role will involve advising developers, landowners, investors, and local authorities on a wide range of complex planning matters, including development and infrastructure projects, planning applications, appeals, judicial reviews, and environmental issues.

What you'll do

• Advise on a wide range of development and infrastructure projects
• Offer strategic advice and technical expertise on planning applications, appeals, judicial reviews, and environmental matters
• Advise on natural capital matters for local authority clients
• Negotiate S.106 agreements to establish a Habitat Bank for biodiversity net gain and nutrient mitigation
• Advise on planning matters in connection with large scale strategic residential schemes
• Negotiate complex s106 agreements involving complex landownership structures and multiple stakeholders
• Support joint ventures between institutional investors on due diligence and planning matters relating to multi-site, single-family rental housing joint ventures
