The role
Thomsons is seeking a Lawyer with 2-5 years of experience in their Sydney Competition practice. This role involves advising leading clients on complex antitrust and consumer law matters, including merger clearances, ACCC investigations, and regulatory strategy, working closely with Partner Mark Grime.
What you'll do
- Advise on the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and related regulatory frameworks
- Support merger clearance strategies, ACCC engagement, notifications and authorisation processes
- Assist clients in relation to investigations, compulsory information-gathering notices and enforcement matters
- Prepare high-quality advice, submissions, compliance materials and transaction support documents
- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex legal and strategic issues
- Contribute to client development initiatives, market engagement and thought leadership
What we're looking for
