The role
Gadens is seeking a Lawyer with 2-3 years' PQE to join its Technology, Media and Intellectual Property team in Brisbane. The role involves supporting Partners Lara Cresser and Michael Owens and focuses on a broad range of advisory, dispute resolution, and litigation matters within the technology and media sectors.
What you'll do
- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of advisory, dispute resolution and litigation matters
- Assist clients across the technology, media and digital sectors on matters involving defamation, online intermediary liability, intellectual property, competition and consumer law, advertising, and election-related issues
- Conduct legal research
- Draft advice
- Draft court documents
- Support litigation and dispute resolution processes
- Assist with client management
What we're looking for
At least 2 years' post-admission experience
Experience with litigation
Focus on or interest in technology and intellectual property-related matters
Collaborative mindset
