The role
Cooley LLP seeks a Capital Markets (Securities) Associate with 2-7 years of PQE for its Denver office. This role focuses on representing companies and underwriters in public securities offerings, particularly within the technology, consumer/retail, and life sciences sectors, as well as advising public companies on corporate governance and compliance.
What you'll do
- Represent companies and/or underwriters in public securities offerings
- Represent public companies in corporate governance and SEC and exchange reporting and compliance
- Manage client relationships
- Handle the day-to-day demands and work flow requirements of a variety of clients with sophisticated needs
What we're looking for
2-7 years of capital markets and public securities experience
Experience representing companies and/or underwriters in public securities offerings
Experience with IPOs and other equity or equity-linked transactions
Focus on the technology, consumer/retail and life sciences sectors
Experience representing public companies in corporate governance, SEC and exchange reporting and compliance
Ability to manage client relationships and handle day-to-day demands of clients with sophisticated needs
Experience in the capital markets department of a national or international law firm
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
