Solicitor or NQ Solicitor - Catastrophic Loss Team at DWF

The role

DWF is seeking a Solicitor or NQ Solicitor with 1-3 years of PQE for their Catastrophic Loss Team in Manchester. This role focuses on handling complex, high-value insurance claims within the Employment, Health Law, and Insurance practice areas.

What you'll do

Handle a multi-track personal injury and catastrophic loss caseload
Assist senior team members on high value complex cases
Advise clients, including insurers and corporate clients, on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy
Draft documents
Prepare for court
Engage in settlement negotiations
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery
Stay updated on legal developments in catastrophic injury and insurance law

What we're looking for

Newly qualified or experienced Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE

Experience handling or assisting on defendant multi-track Catastrophic Loss and Personal Injury cases, including RTAs, EL, and PL

Strong technical knowledge of personal injury law, liability, and quantum assessment

Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills

Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

A commitment to delivering outstanding service and results

Strong academics

Experience assisting on claim values ranging from £150,000 to £20 million· nice to have
