Senior Associate - Employment & Safety at Thomsons

The role

Thomsons is seeking a Senior Associate with 5+ years of experience in employment and workplace relations law for their Adelaide office. This role will focus on advising a diverse range of Australian and multinational organisations on various employment, industrial, and WHS matters, including litigation, transactional work, and strategic advice.

What you'll do

Develop and implement IR strategies
Advise on enterprise bargaining
Respond to industrial disputes
Draft and advise on the enforcement of employment agreements
Defend unfair dismissal claims
Defend general protection claims
Defend discrimination claims
Advise on compliance with WHS laws

What we're looking for

5+ years' PAE in employment and workplace relations law

Experience working in a high quality practice in employment, workplace relations, safety, discrimination and compliance issues

Detailed understanding of employment, workplace relations, safety, discrimination and compliance law

Demonstrated ability to provide sound technical advice and practical business-focused solutions

Ability to interact confidently with clients and build effective working relationships

Team-oriented with a strong work ethic· nice to have
