The role

Solicitor or Senior Associate (4-6 PQE) with competition law experience to join Mallesons' National Competition & Regulatory team in Melbourne. This role will focus on high-profile and complex competition and consumer law matters.

What we're looking for

Solicitor or junior Senior Associate with 4-6 years PQE

Strong and broad competition and consumer law experience

Experience in ACCC merger reviews and assessments

Experience in competition and consumer law investigations

Previous experience in an Australian or overseas law firm or a competition regulator

Experience in, and a willingness to, explore and use AI to help deliver for our clients

A collaborative team style and a positive attitude

Ability to delegate and mentor junior lawyers

An ability to identify and think through complex legal issues and to provide practical and effective solutions

Excellent written, analytical, communication and research skills

A strong commitment to client service

An ability to build and nurture client relationships within and outside of matters

Hold all visas and other approvals necessary for you to work for the firm in Australia if not an Australian citizen or permanent resident
