NQ or Solicitor Healthcare NHSR

The role

DWF is seeking an NQ or Solicitor with 1+ years of PQE in Healthcare Law, specifically focusing on Clinical Negligence. This role is based in Manchester and will involve representing the NHS Resolution in defendant clinical negligence cases.

What you'll do

• Manage a varied caseload of high value Defendant clinical negligence matters from inception to resolution
• Provide expert legal advice on clinical negligence claims, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating case documents
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
• Liaise with clients, medical professionals, and experts to gather information and evidence
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Healthcare Team to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Identify opportunities for Business Development with NHS Resolution and Trust clients
• Assist with Trust client care matters as required
