The role
Mills Oakley is seeking a Tax Lawyer with 2+ years of PQE to join their Sydney team. This role will involve advising clients on complex tax disputes and assisting in dispute resolution and litigation strategies.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on complex tax disputes
- Prepare and review objections, private ruling submissions, legal opinions, witness statements, evidence, pleadings, and court documentation
- Assist in the development and execution of dispute resolution and litigation strategies
- Conduct detailed legal research and analyse tax legislation and case law
What we're looking for
A minimum of 2 years’ PQE
Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
A strong academic record
Experience in commercial litigation· nice to have
