The role
CMS is seeking a corporate tax associate with 4 years of PQE to join their Manchester team. The role focuses on complex, high-value transactions within the M&A and Tax practice areas.
What you'll do
- Work on cross border, complex and high-value transactions
- Provide efficient professional support to the senior lawyers within the team
- Develop professional client relationships
- Support the wider team in developing our business and raising the profile of the firm
- Involvement in marketing events and other BD activities
- Manage and supervise the work of others including trainees
What we're looking for
An appropriate level of post qualification experience in a UK based team
Maximum PQE of 4 years
Excellent drafting skills
Ability to translate legal theory into practical advice
Ambitious and have an entrepreneurial mindset
Good interpersonal and business advisory skills
