The role

Piper Alderman is seeking Law Graduates for its 12-month Melbourne graduate program commencing February 2027. This program offers rotations through at least three practice areas, providing hands-on experience and direct contact with senior lawyers and partners.

What you'll do

Gain experience through rotations in at least three practices
Work on a variety of matters with experts across different specialities of law
Develop your technical legal skills, commercial acumen and confidence

What we're looking for

Demonstrated academic excellence throughout your tertiary studies

Curious mindset with high quality research skills and demonstration of critical thinking

Strong attention to detail

Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Digital capability

Ability to build positive and respectful relationships quickly, with a team player attitude

An ability to demonstrate initiative and take a proactive approach to solving problems

In their final year of study in 2026 or recently graduated and not yet in professional work
