The role
HWLE Lawyers is seeking a Solicitor with 2+ years of PQE for their Construction & Infrastructure practice group in Brisbane. This role focuses on both front-end and back-end construction matters, acting for prominent clients across diverse projects.
What you'll do
- Support senior lawyers
- Develop technical skills through legal research
- Conduct contract review
- Draft submissions
- Gather and organise evidence
- Apply developing knowledge of construction law to real-world matters
- Participate in client meetings
- Manage day-to-day matters
What we're looking for
2+ years post admission experience
Excellent communication skills
Exposure to, and interest in, construction law
Strong drafting skills
Commercial acumen and critical thinking capabilities
Full working rights in Australia
Valid practising certificate
