Associate (2-3 PQE) - Corporate (Dubai) at Mishcon de Reya

The role

This is an Associate Corporate role with Mishcon de Reya in Dubai, for a lawyer with 2-3 years of experience in M&A and corporate advisory work.

What you'll do

Engage in transactional and advisory work including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, shareholders agreements, joint ventures, market entry re-organisations and general corporate advisory

What we're looking for

2-3 years PQE gained within a leading corporate practice at a law firm of international repute

A broad range of corporate transactional and advisory experience, including M&A and private equity/growth capital

The ability to produce high quality first drafts of transactional and ancillary documents

Project manage effectively

Experience of managing due diligence processes

Excellent written and interpersonal skills

Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both internally and with clients

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to effectively manage own workload

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Personable and confident, able to build relationships with colleagues, clients and external organisations

Resilient and calm under pressure

Adaptable and flexible approach

Pro-active and takes initiative

Takes responsibility for and attends to self-development

Interest in undertaking business development activities both internally and externally

Existing regional experience is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite· nice to have

Ideally experienced in the sectors outlined (private and growth capital, technology, gaming, innovation, retail, hospitality & leisure, real estate, healthcare and education)· nice to have
