The role
An Associate with 2-4 years of PQE is sought by Allens for their Sydney-based Banking & Finance team, focusing on Restructuring, Workouts and Insolvency. The role involves a mix of front-end and back-end restructuring work, supporting complex distressed and insolvency situations.
What you'll do
Work closely with Gavin Rakoczy on complex distressed and insolvency situations
Handle a mix of front-end and back-end R&I work
Undertake back-end work limited to court applications necessary to support and implement restructuring processes and structures
Deliver solutions utilising the full gamut of formal and consensual/informal solvency and turnaround processes
Gain exposure to many of Australia's largest and most complex situations
Focus on insolvency, restructuring and workouts (formal and informal)
Focus on cross-border situations
Focus on structuring advice
Focus on distressed financing
Focus on opportunistic M&A
Focus on defensive structuring and contingency planning
What we're looking for
