The role
A&O Shearman is seeking an interim Legal Consultant with 4+ years of PQE in Corporate/Commercial law, specifically M&A, to work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
What you'll do
- Advise on domestic and cross-border acquisitions
- Advise on disposals
- Advise on joint ventures
- Advise on minority investments
- Advise on associated corporate restructurings
- Work alongside senior investment professionals and external counsel
What we're looking for
4+ years PQE
Strong transactional and commercial contracts experience
Experience in M&A documentation
Experience with due diligence processes
Experience with shareholders' agreement negotiations
Experience gained at a leading international law firm or comparable in-house environment
Prior exposure to the UAE or wider Middle East market· nice to have
Familiarity with DIFC or ADGM regulatory frameworks· nice to have
