Solicitor & Associate - Planning & Environment

The role

HopgoodGanim is seeking a Solicitor & Associate with 2+ years of PQE to join its growing Planning & Environment practice group in Brisbane, Australia. This role is for a motivated practitioner looking to deepen their expertise in planning law, development approvals, environmental compliance, and related litigation.

What you'll do

• Work with public and private sector clients across a diverse range of matters
• Handle planning law and development approval processes, including litigation and dispute resolution
• Manage Land Court proceedings involving property resumptions and valuation objections
• Draft statutory documents and negotiate infrastructure documents
• Manage environmental approvals, compliance and litigation including prosecutions
• Conduct due diligence investigations on large property transactions and public floats
