The role
Thomsons is seeking a Lawyer/Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their Intellectual Property, Regulatory, and Technology team in Adelaide, Australia. This role focuses on IP and IT matters for a diverse corporate client base.
What we're looking for
2-5 years' post admission experience
Experience with reviewing and drafting contracts
Exposure to a range of commercial transactions
Excellent attention to detail
Willingness and ability to understand clients' commercial needs and objectives and provide solutions at law to achieve these
Strong legal analysis and the ability to apply problem solving skills to varied situations
Ability to provide sound, pragmatic and innovative legal advice to corporate clients
Experience in dealing directly with clients and working autonomously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A desire to learn and be challenged and stimulated by your work
Experience in IT law will be well regarded· nice to have
