The role
Gadens is seeking a Lawyer with 1+ years of PQE to join their Technology, Media and Intellectual Property team in Brisbane. This role will support partners Lara Cresser and Michael Owens and focus on IP and Technology related matters within the advisory, dispute, and litigation space.
What you'll do
- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of advisory, dispute and litigation matters
- Assist clients across the technology, media and digital sectors on issues including defamation, online intermediary liability, intellectual property, competition and consumer law, advertising, and election-related matters
- Conduct legal research
- Draft advice and court documents
- Support litigation and dispute resolution processes
- Assist with client management
