The role
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate for its Corporate & Finance Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. This role focuses on advising public and private companies, strategic investors, and private equity sponsors on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, particularly in the Silicon Valley/Denver/Boston United States region.
What you'll do
- Advise public and private companies, strategic investors, and private equity sponsors on complex domestic and cross-border transactions
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and deal teams
- Lead workstreams
- Collaborate across offices and practices
- Contribute to the development of junior lawyers
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction where they will practice
Outstanding academic credentials
Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
Ability to integrate evolving legal technologies and workflow tools
Ability to work independently
Ability to collaborate seamlessly across offices and practices
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
Experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents
Experience managing diligence processes
Experience executing mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions
Experience with public and private company M&A· nice to have
Experience with federal securities laws· nice to have
Experience with Delaware corporate law· nice to have
Experience representing technology and life sciences companies· nice to have
