Lawyer - Litigation & Dispute Resolution at K&L Gates

The role

K&L Gates seeks a Lawyer with 2-5 years of experience in Litigation and Dispute Resolution to join their Brisbane team. This role focuses on assisting with complex commercial contract disputes, shareholder issues, injunctive relief, regulatory investigations, real estate disputes, and negligence actions.

What you'll do

Assist in delivering strategic legal advice
Manage disputes from inception through to resolution
Draft key documents
Appear in courts and tribunals as appropriate
Work directly with clients
Take ownership of matters

What we're looking for

2 to 5 years' post-admission experience gained within a recognised commercial litigation practice

Strong technical and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to build strong client relationships and work effectively as part of a team

A commercial mindset and keen attention to detail

Initiative, sound judgment and a willingness to take ownership of matters

Collaborative team player

Eager to continue developing litigation and advocacy skills
