Solicitor/Associate - Clinical Risk

The role

DAC Beachcroft is seeking a Solicitor/Associate with 1+ years of PQE to join their Health Law practice in Leeds. This role focuses on defendant clinical negligence work for a variety of healthcare clients.

What you'll do

• Handle a caseload of defendant clinical negligence work acting for clients including NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, MDU, independent providers, and medical malpractice insurers
• Draft legal documents
• Conduct face-to-face negotiations and mediation of claims
• Prepare cases for and adhere to court deadlines
• Engage in direct client care, acting as the first and primary contact for clients
• Provide commercially focused legal advice to clients
• Adhere to client protocols and processes
• Contribute to non-fee-earning activity including knowledge sharing, training, client seminars, writing articles, and business development
