Solicitor - Medical Negligence at Irwin Mitchell

The role

Irwin Mitchell is seeking a Solicitor in Medical Negligence with 0-6 years of PQE to join their Health Law practice. This role is based in Southampton, Bristol, or Cambridge and offers the opportunity to work within a leading clinical negligence team, supporting clients through challenging times and assisting senior colleagues on complex cases.

What you'll do

Manage your own caseload, including litigated matters, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients
Assist senior colleagues on high-value and complex claims across a wide range of medical disciplines
Deliver consistently accurate and compassionate legal advice, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout their journey
Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless and high-quality service

What we're looking for

Up to 6 years PQE in Clinical Negligence

Strong background in Claimant work

Proven experience managing your own caseload, including litigated claims

Ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice

Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high-value complex cases

Ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team
