Family Law - Associate/Senior Associate at Mills Oakley

The role

Mills Oakley is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate with 3-8 years of PQE to join their Perth Family Law team. The role focuses on representing clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, property settlements, and parenting disputes, and involves both alternative dispute resolution and litigated matters.

What you'll do

Represent clients based both locally and overseas on a wide range of matters including divorce, property settlements, parenting disputes, financial agreements, child support, and family violence
Act in both alternative dispute resolution (e.g. mediations and settlement conferences) and litigated disputes, primarily in the Family Court of Western Australia

What we're looking for

Between 3-8 years’ PQE in a highly regarded family law practice

In-depth knowledge of family law principles, procedures, and regulations

Excellent communication skills with the ability to display empathy and build rapport

Excellent client service and demonstrated experience in producing client-focused outcomes

Specialist Accreditation in Family Law will be advantageous· nice to have
