Employment Associate – 1-3 years’ PQE at Pinsent Masons

The role

Pinsent Masons is seeking an Employment Associate with 1-3 years of PQE to join their Belfast office. This role is within the firm's highly-regarded Employment & Reward Group, which advises leading FTSE blue chip organisations on a range of complex employment law matters.

What we're looking for

1-3 years employment law experience in a commercial practice

Technical and market knowledge

Specific experience of dealing with strategic employment law advice

Specific experience of dealing with complex employment tribunal claims

Specific experience of dealing with cross-border issues

Specific experience of dealing with restructuring and redundancy

Specific experience of dealing with complex grievances at a senior level including discrimination and whistle blowing complaints

Specific experience of dealing with senior executive/board room issues

Strong academic background

Technically strong

Commercially aware

Understand how a large international firm operates

Team players

Excellent communication skills

Desire to help grow the team

Actively involved in multi-disciplinary cross-office initiatives

Experience in high value and High Court litigation· nice to have

Appetite for work within the M&A and outsourcing space· nice to have
