Simmons Adaptive – Interim Employment Lawyer at Simmons & Simmons

The role

Simmons Adaptive is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join Simmons & Simmons in London. This role involves supporting the firm's clients on a flexible basis, undertaking a broad range of employment law matters.

What you'll do

Support clients on HR advisory and day-to-day employment law queries
Draft and review contracts, policies and handbooks
Manage disciplinary, grievance and performance issues
Advise on redundancies, restructures and TUPE
Handle discrimination, equality and diversity matters
Manage employment tribunal claims
Negotiate settlement agreements
Train clients on employment law and best practice

What we're looking for

Qualified lawyer with solid employment law experience

Experience ideally gained in a leading private practice or in-house environment

Ability to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment

Ability to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines

Excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team

Relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)

Problem solver and offer a collaborative approach· nice to have
