The role
Hill Dickinson is seeking a Corporate Associate with 2-4 years of PQE to join their Leeds office. This role will focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) work within a fast-growing corporate team.
What you'll do
- Support on mergers or acquisitions or disposal transactions for corporate clients
- Support/lead acquisition and disposal of business and assets and/or shares
- Support on public company transactions, such as IPO’s or equity fundraisers
- Support/lead due diligence exercises, data room reviews or management and disclosure processes
- Prepare and finalise disclosure letters and supporting bundles
- Support on and review investment documents either acting for investing institutions or management teams on PE backed transactions or placing agreements
- Draft and negotiate the terms of transaction ancillary documents
- Undertake general corporate work including corporate restructurings, shareholders agreements, joint ventures and limited liability partnership agreements, specifically drafting the principal documents
- Assist with business development and tenders including research about clients and targets
- Gain early exposure to clients

Experience of independently managing a caseload and providing sound commercial advice
