The role
Orrick is seeking an Intellectual Property Associate with 2-4 years of experience in non-patent areas like copyright and trademark law. This role is for motivated associates interested in joining a leading IP litigation practice, with opportunities in Boston, New York, or San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Manage intellectual property/technology litigation and enforcement matters in the copyright, trademark, trade secret, false advertising and AI spaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients
- Develop strategy for complex litigation and enforcement actions
- Counsel clients on legal risks related to product development
- Conduct legal research and analysis and demonstrate strong legal writing skills
- Manage the discovery phase of litigation, including working with the client and vendors to run e-discovery
- Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong client-facing skills and work effectively as a team player
What we're looking for

The expected salary range for this position is between $235,000 and $310,000
