The role

Simmons & Simmons is seeking a Trade Mark Attorney with 1-6 years of PQE to join their IP practice in London or Bristol. This role focuses on advising clients on brand clearance, protection strategies, trade mark prosecution, portfolio management, and contentious matters within the firm's highly regarded international Brands, Trade Marks & Designs team.

What you'll do

Advise on brand clearance and protection strategies
Advise on trade mark prosecution and portfolio management
Advise on contentious matters including opposition, invalidity and revocation proceedings
Advise on enforcement actions
Advise on online brand protection programmes
Deliver commercially focused, pragmatic advice

What we're looking for

Chartered Trade Mark Attorney with between 1–6 years' PQE

Proven experience advising on UK and EU trade mark matters

Experience gained within private practice, either in a law firm or trade mark attorney firm

Strong academic credentials

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and client portfolios effectively

Strong client focus and a commercial, pragmatic approach to delivering advice

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team

Capable of building strong professional relationships and developing networks both internally and externally

Interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of a leading international brands practice
