Senior/Managing Associate - Pensions

The role

Foot Anstey is seeking a Senior/Managing Associate in Pensions, a role within the Employment practice area, for their Bristol, Exeter, or London offices. This position is ideal for an experienced Pensions Lawyer looking to advance their career within a growing team and take on a lead role in developing the firm's pension offering.

What you'll do

• Support your Corporate Team colleagues with pensions due diligence work relating to share and business acquisitions and advising on and negotiating pension warranties, indemnities, and disclosure, typically working on behalf of the purchaser
• Provide pensions advice on standalone matters such as scheme mergers, Pensions Regulator issues, benefit changes, windings up, as well as pensions scheme documentation
• Engage and support junior lawyers and trainees in your work, delegating and supervising tasks
• Be the Employment Team pensions lead and have the unique opportunity to develop and build the firm's pension offering, including training and supervising the current team
