Solicitor - Commercial and Procurement

The role

DAC Beachcroft is seeking a Solicitor specializing in Commercial and Procurement law to join their Leeds office. This role is ideal for a lawyer with strong commercial law expertise, and a keen interest or experience in health and public sector contracting, to work within the firm's Health Law and Public Sector practice areas.

What you'll do

• Assist the team on major commercial and procurement projects
• Provide commercially focused risk advice to clients with practical solutions/next steps
• Negotiate and draft provisions for contractual and procurement documentation across health and wider government for public and private sector clients
• Assist on managing high-value, high-profile projects that span practice areas
• Manage own tasks and matters (depending on experience)
• Demonstrate proactive financial management of matters
• Support the team by reviewing work of junior colleagues (depending on experience) and assisting with work allocation
• Support business development through client engagement, marketing, and networking activities
• Contribute to team growth by supporting pitches, seminars, and training sessions
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Stay current with legal and sector knowledge, actively contributing to team expertise and ensuring compliance with data security protocols
