Goodwin is seeking a mid-level to senior associate for its Private Equity M&A practice in Washington D.C. The role is for an attorney with 4+ years of PQE, focusing on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters within the private equity space.

Experience in venture capital transactions
Experience in exits and equity compensation
Experience working in teams
Experience managing components of transactions independently
Proactive with strong business sense
Stellar communication skills
Ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
Outstanding academic credentials
Comparable law firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
Deal sheet required
