The role
DWF is seeking a Solicitor/Associate with 4+ years of PQE in Litigation to join their Major Injury & Casualty Claims team in Belfast. This role focuses on managing a diverse caseload of litigated claims, providing strategic legal advice, and representing clients.
What you'll do
- Manage a varied caseload of litigated EL/PL / Casualty, Disease and Personal/Serious Injury claims, from inception to resolution
- Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and liaising with experts
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes
- Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, and industry trends
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
What we're looking for

Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills· nice to have
