Associate - Real Estate at DWF

The role

We are looking for a skilled and commercially minded Real Estate lawyer to join our Leeds-based Real Estate team. This role will support the team on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, focusing on development, regeneration, investment, and asset management. The position is suitable for a qualified solicitor with considerable experience in a leading real estate team and involves playing a crucial role in client relationship development and ensuring service quality.

What you'll do

Manage a varied caseload of commercial real estate transactional work
Support the Real Estate team in driving continuous growth and improvement across the team
Work closely with clients to provide practical, clear, and robust legal advice, ensuring their commercial objectives are met
Supervise and mentor other junior team members
Maintain and manage strong relationships with key clients whilst striving to achieve further growth through new and existing business

What we're looking for

Qualified solicitor with considerable experience working in a leading real estate team

Able to manage files independently and contribute to wider team matters when required

Confident and personable with excellent stakeholder management skills

A collaborative approach to building and developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Ability to prioritise work effectively and to maximise efficiency in working practices

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

Ability to manage complex transactions and multiple stakeholders
