Solicitor - Employment

The role

Weightmans is seeking a Solicitor with 3+ years of PQE in Employment law to join their Birmingham, London, or Manchester office. This role involves advising clients on a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters and supporting high-profile claims.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on the full range of employment law issues, including disciplinary matters, grievances and discrimination matters
• Play a key role in the conduct of the defence of high-profile and cutting-edge Employment Tribunal claims
• Deal with high profile claims against foreign embassies
• Support the team in relation to change and restructuring projects
• Communicate with clients and work collaboratively with the team in the progression of ongoing large-scale projects
• Manage your own workload, with supervision
• Draft articles and legal updates
• Deliver training and networking as part of a structured business development initiative
