Associate - Public Sector Contracts and Procurement

The role

An Associate Solicitor is sought for the Public Sector Contracts and Procurement team at TLT. This role is for a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE, focusing on commercial contracts and public procurement advice for public sector clients, including central government departments and agencies.

What you'll do

• Work with public procurement and commercial lawyers to give public procurement law and contract advice to a range of public sector clients
• Advise on procurement strategy
• Draft procurement documentation
• Support procurement litigators in relation to informal and formal procurement challenges
• Negotiate tendering procedures
• Draft review and manage contracts, framework agreements, and call-off arrangements throughout the whole contract lifecycle
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet tight deadlines and manage project work
• Assist in managing and supporting trainees and apprentices in the team
• Work closely with the Partners across each of our office locations in long-term strategy and development of the team
• Take an active role in business development
• Support in designing and delivering internal and external client training
