The role
Mills Oakley is seeking a Lawyer/Associate/Senior Associate for its Public Sector practice in Melbourne, Australia, with 1-8 years of PQE. This role focuses on disability-related merits review and administrative appeals for a key government client.
What you'll do
- Manage a busy caseload of disability-related merits review matters
- Prepare high-quality submissions, evidence summaries, and case strategies
- Conduct tribunal appearances, conferences, and negotiations
- Provide clear, well-reasoned advice to government decision-makers
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, counsel, and government stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement in administrative law processes and legal risk management
