The role
This role is for an Associate within Hill Dickinson's PI, Travel and Regulatory team in London. The position is suitable for a solicitor with NQ to 2 years PQE who will focus on defending personal injury, travel, industrial disease, and related claims.
What you'll do
- Defend claims for catastrophic injury
- Defend fatal injuries
- Provide jurisdictional advice
- Defend EL and PL land based personal injury claims
- Defend travel claims
- Defend industrial disease claims
- Investigate work-related death incidents
- Handle prosecutions
- Draft agreements
What we're looking for
Qualified Solicitor (NQ – 2 years PQE)
Law degree (or equivalent)
Personal injury and/or industrial disease claim experience
Ability to handle your own claims
Ability/willingness to work as part of a team and independently
An interest and aptitude for developing new business
Attention to detail and an ability to multi-task
Strong organisation, intrapersonal and communication skills
Pragmatic approach to legal and commercial problem solving
Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and adhere to guidelines and procedures (client and internal)
Ability to demonstrate the firm’s core values
