The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Family Legal Director with at least 9 PQE to join Michelmores' newly opened Cambridge office. The role will focus on representing high-profile, high-net worth international and landed estates clients in complex family law matters, reporting to Daniel Eames and supported by partners Sarah Green, Felicity Chapman, and Pippa Allsop.

What you'll do

Represent a variety of high-profile, high-net worth international and landed estates clients in cutting-edge family law matters
Advise on nuptial agreements and wealth protection
Handle contested financial remedy proceedings
Manage cohabitation cases
Address complex children law matters
Deal with domestic abuse injunctions

What we're looking for

At least 9 PQE

Experience with HNW/UNHW clients

Experience with complex financial remedy proceedings

Experience with complex children cases

Enthusiasm for business development and marketing in tandem with legal expertise

Strong interpersonal skills, building rapport with colleagues and clients at all levels across multiple offices

A pro-active, professional, and collaborative approach to work with a willingness to support partners in other teams and offices

Excellent organisational skills, with demonstrable examples of multi-tasking, managing competing priorities and use of initiative to work towards objectives or career goals

The ability to communicate well under pressure and be a positive role model
