Associate - Commercial Disputes

The role

An Associate with 4 years' PQE is sought to join the cross-office Commercial Disputes team. This role will focus on advising and representing clients in a broad range of contentious commercial litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution matters, often with an international focus. The position offers support from partners and senior lawyers, encouraging ownership of marketing efforts and career development.

What you'll do

• Advise in relation to and represent clients in commercial litigation matters, whether through litigation, arbitration or alternative dispute resolution
• Handle own caseload (subject to supervision)
• Assist partners and senior lawyers with more substantial matters
• Participate in marketing initiatives, including client training days / seminars
• Ensure files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures
• Participate in firm-wide and departmental training sessions
• Meet targets as agreed
• Manage files, time and billing efficiently and in a cost-effective manner
• Expand our provision of commercial litigation services
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and market intermediaries
