International Private Client (Tax & Trusts) Associate

The role

Burges Salmon is seeking an International Private Client (Tax & Trusts) Associate with 4+ years of PQE to join their top-tier practice group in Bristol or London. This role is for experienced lawyers looking to work on high-quality, complex international tax and succession planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and their families.

What you'll do

• Advise a range of clients including high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, international families, business owners, family offices, landed estates, private banks, wealth managers and trust companies
• Work on high-value, complex succession and tax planning matters, for clients with international affairs
• Advise on the UK statutory residence test
• Advise on the long-term residence and FIG regimes
• Advise on the creation and ongoing UK taxation of trusts and family investment companies
• Advise on cross-border estates including drafting Wills and advice on family succession and governance
