The role

Wotton Kearney is seeking an Associate - General Liability lawyer for their Melbourne, Australia office. This role is within the Insurance and Litigation practice areas and is suitable for lawyers with experience in general liability matters.

What you'll do

Represent clients in cases involving physical injury, ensuring compensation for medical expenses, pain, and lost income
Advise on claims against manufacturers for injuries caused by defective or unsafe products
Handle disputes over third party property damage, working on some of the highest profiles claims in Australia

What we're looking for

Associate or Senior Associate level with experience in general liability

Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills

A collaborative approach and a commitment to excellence

Confidence to take ownership of matters and drive them forward

A desire to grow your career in a leading insurance and risk practice
