Senior Associate - Professional & Financial Risks

The role

RPC is seeking a Senior Associate with at least 5 years of PQE to join their Professional & Financial Risks team in Bristol. This role focuses on litigation and regulatory matters within the insurance sector, acting for both Professional Indemnity Insurers and their insured professionals.

What you'll do

• Defend professional negligence and related claims against a wide range of professionals
• Support on, and in some cases lead, coverage/policy response work connected with professional indemnity notifications and disputes
• Manage a caseload of Professional Indemnity claims, including coverage issues
• Deliver high quality and timely outputs to clients
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the team's service, support, processes and procedures
• Share with and help others within the team
• Take responsibility for aspects of team development
• Capture and collate required Management Information in accordance with agreed practice for clients
• Develop and manage strong relationships with clients
• Undertake business development to further grow the practice
• Identify and shape commercial opportunities
• Price, resource and use technology to manage matters
• Coach and develop junior team members
