Junior Associate - CILL Scotland

The role

Clyde & Co is seeking a Junior Associate with 2 years of PQE to join their Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss Litigation team in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. The role involves assisting partners with complex claims and managing your own caseload.

What you'll do

• Assist and handle a varied caseload
• Carry out investigations, take witness statements, review and interpret medical records and medical reports
• Report to and liaise with clients to achieve the best outcomes
• Comply with client SLAs and MI requirements
• Proactive and strategic file management, including adhering to court timetables
• Support the Partners in servicing existing clients, growing new business, and maintaining relationships with clients using technical excellence and innovation
• Draft all legal documents and client advice
• Deal with interlocutory proceedings, CCMCs and client meetings
• Support marketing and business development activity with the team and the wider Clyde & Co casualty group
