The role

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate to join their Capital Markets team in London. This role focuses on advising clients on a wide range of complex derivatives transactions, including drafting and negotiating relevant documentation.

What you'll do

Advise on the negotiation and documentation of various derivative products, structured finance transactions, and regulatory matters
Support clients in the development and execution of risk management strategies
Engage in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal agreements, including ISDA master agreements, credit support documentation, and derivative trading agreements

What we're looking for

Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales (candidates with experience from other jurisdictions may also be considered)

Experience at a top-tier UK, US, or international law firm, with a focus on derivatives and structured finance

A strong academic background, with a solid understanding of derivatives products and financial markets

Experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on ISDA agreements, master agreements, and related documentation

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex transactions with a high level of accuracy

A proactive, solutions-oriented attitude, with a willingness to learn and tackle new challenges

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior stakeholders

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically in a dynamic and rapidly evolving legal landscape
