Managing Associate

The role

The Managing Associate will focus exclusively on employment law, assisting Senior Associates, Managing Associates, and Partners with tribunal cases and advisory work, while also managing their own caseload under supervision. This role is for an experienced lawyer who will also supervise junior associates and trainees, engage in client relationship management, and contribute to business development.

What you'll do

• Assist other Senior Associates, Managing Associates and Partners with their tribunal cases and advisory work
• Run own matters under supervision
• Work with more Junior Associates and Trainees / Paralegals
• Supervise more Junior Associates and Trainees / Paralegals
• Engage in direct client contact
• Manage client relationships
• Lead and/or actively manage key client relationships
• Manage significant projects or cases involving a team of lawyers
• Proactively suggest ideas for collaborating on business development and other activities
