The role

Mayer Brown is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to join its Employment practice in London. The role is for a qualified Solicitor with 3-6 years of PQE, focusing on advising corporate clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

What we're looking for

Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3-6 years PQE

Ability to manage/lead matters with limited supervision

Hardworking and committed to developing the employment team both nationally and internationally

Experience advising corporate clients on the full spectrum of employment law matters

Experience providing strategic legal advice on restructures, collective redundancies, workforce reorganisations, and TUPE transfers in corporate transactions

Experience supporting M&A deals by conducting employment due diligence, preparing warranties/indemnities, and advising on post‑completion integration from an employment law perspective

Excellent knowledge and understanding of handling and resolving technical legal issues

Ability to represent the firm at business development events

Ability to manage matters to agreed standards and within budget

Work efficiently as a team member

Collaborate cross practice (Corporate, Litigation, Data Privacy etc) to provide holistic, cross practice advice
