Workplace Health & Safety Lawyer - Sydney at Pinsent Masons

The role

This is an opportunity for a Workplace Health & Safety Lawyer with 2-5 years of PQE to join Pinsent Masons in Sydney. The role focuses on dedicated safety and coronial law within the firm's specialist team.

What you'll do

Respond to incidents, including providing advice on improvement, prohibition, and infringement notices
Prepare for and appear in court for WHS prosecutions and Coronial Inquests
Advise on safety governance and best practise, including officer duties

What we're looking for

Australian-qualified lawyer

2-5 years post-qualification experience

Demonstrated experience working in workplace health & safety law

Strong organisational skills

Ability to assimilate information quickly

Ability to handle multiple priorities within tight timeframes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commercial awareness

Enthusiasm about business development

Experience ideally gained in private practice· nice to have
