The role
Wilson Sonsini is seeking a healthcare regulatory associate with 2-4 years of PQE to join its team. This role focuses on health innovation, representing companies across various stages and supporting public health tech companies interested in technology like AI and telehealth.
What we're looking for
2-4 years of experience working in healthcare law
Strong interest in the use of technology in healthcare
Experience advising on corporate practice of medicine
Experience advising on state law considerations for multi-state digital health practices
Experience advising on federal, commercial, and self-insured payor reimbursement
Experience advising on value-based care and accountable care organizations
Experience advising on fraud and abuse laws
Experience advising on HIPAA and state health privacy laws
Experience advising on federal and state laws governing health data exchange and interoperability
Experience advising on state health-care transaction notification laws
Experience advising on Knox-Keene
Experience advising on state laws relating to the use of AI in healthcare
Strong writing and analytical skills
Superior organizational and project management skills
Detail-oriented
Skilled at learning new issues quickly
Client service-oriented
Good judgment
Open to periodic travel to client events and healthcare conferences
