Simmons Adaptive – Interim Contentious Construction Lawyer at Simmons & Simmons

The role

Simmons Adaptive is seeking an interim contentious construction lawyer to support the Dispute Resolution practice group at Simmons & Simmons. This role is for an England & Wales qualified lawyer with proven experience in construction disputes, ideally gained within a leading private practice.

What we're looking for

England & Wales qualified lawyer

Proven experience in construction disputes gained within a leading private practice

Extensive UK domestic court work experience

Strong experience in contentious construction law, including litigation, arbitration and adjudication

Experienced with standard form construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.)

Ability to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines

Excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads

Hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)

Experience with building safety related disputes· nice to have

Problem solver and offer a collaborative approach· nice to have

Able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment· nice to have
